This was painted in the studio using a bunch of sunflowers from Millbank farm in Whiterock near Killinchy, County Down, Northern Ireland. The plants were starting to wither as they had been sitting in the studio for a while before I started. I had to be quick to catch them before they expired altogether.

The image measures 18” x 12” and the overall size framed is 16” x 18.5”. It comes with a complimentary black solid wood frame to bring out the bright colours of the blooms,
